The ICC world Test championship has been started now. And the first series between India and Westindies was played under ICC Test championship. It is a wonderful intiative to save Test cricket’s fantasy in nowadays, when T20 and league tournaments has come up with more entertainment but less gentle cricket. so here we now understand how the world test championship will be organised.
Under World Test Championship, each team has to play 6 test series against other different countries. each series has 120 points.
If, there is a 5 match series, the winning team will get 24 points for each match, i.e. 120/5
and in a 4 match series the winning team will get 30 points, 40 points for 3 match series and 60 points for 2 natch series.
atlast, in year 2021 the top two team will play final. if final match gets a draw or there is a no result. the title will be shared between both the teams.

presently India is on top with 240 points by winning 2 series consecutively.
